They occasionally come up to do dishes but otherwise have the means to do all of their cooking in their own space and they have their own dishes, pots and pans, etc. 

We are keeping the tin roof as well.

I've said this a number of times before, house-hacking sounds good on paper but rarely pans out as people expect. 

Shop-vac brand name at lowes its the best deal and they keep parts in stock.All the others i have used are just a pain in the *** when you are trying to gitrdun.try some bleach in the ac pan it keeps things from growing there.

Our washer sits in a pan with an emergency drain, so if the washer leaks, it won't cause any damage. 

David,I am still in the early stages of panning as well and I'll tell you for me writing a business plan and sharing it as I go with people around me is helping me gain some confidence.

Anyways, who puts anything but cooking pans in that drawer?

It is an investment in a person that may or may not pan out.

hearing about this reminded me of when i was living alone @ an apartment in southern ca. i was trying to deep fry some jumbo shrimp and out of no where, i looked back and there was fire from the pan on the stove caressing the ceiling.
