We did get one half of the park ( its split by a city street) in contract at a price that makes sense to subdivide so that will happen this summer.. 7 lots being created.Its an interesting business that's for sure. and in my travels around the country you have far more of these on the East and down texas way than we do on the West coast.. our zoning in many areas is pretty stiff

You can relieve them of the tax and upkeep burdens while helping them (re)build their credit, if they've been behind on payments.It's possible you're assuming that the investor is going to stiff them and finish ruining their credit, also losing the property when the lender forecloses or the county puts it to tax sale.With recent changes to the tax laws, it may make more sense for the seller than contract-for-deed in some cases.Not sure what brought this on, but sure hope you feel better soon!
