Is there a way to remove a dog odor from a home without replacing the carpet?

I use them all the time on heavy smoke and pet smell houses and it works great in neutralizing the odors. 

Rent a decent ozone machine get rid of the odors.

Also used lots of "natures Miracle" spray bottle which neutralized the urine/odor using enzymes. 

Their excrement will continue to foul the living space if you don't remove the nests/excrement and clean/deodorize the area.I would not approve removal of drywall unless the rodent infestation was severe and the drywall was compromised.

The new Chinese drywall can has sulphuor odor causing head aches and some people get sick when the humidity is high. 

Of course if your ARV and repair estimates are off, that fouls things up

Mining operation were abandoned and the Township used the 65’ pit as the town dump for a few years until neighboring communities complained about the odor.
