By all means go for it if it makes sense but thread carefully.As to the missing out bit, I've heard of so many stock market investors who missed out on the post-Covid run up, had FOMO and bought unprofitable tech stocks at the top and lost most of it in a few months as the market crashes.It's good if missing out in the past pushes you to take action.

Plenty of people will either be screwed if they do or screwed if they don't.Wonder if there will be any bleed over from this fallout to stock market or other investment markets.

I also prefer real estate over stocks, even though I manage the property myself.

Otherwise, there are still decent flips in this market with rates the way that they are.As for the volatility/crash potential, there are people who get paid A LOT more than me trying to guess that, but I think in the end, that is why we do real estate instead of solely stocks, etc. because of the perceived 'stability' of real estate.

Plenty of dividend-paying stocks out there with solid dividend histories right now, paying well above 10 percent for me doing absolutely nothing.If I can earn 10 percent for doing nothing, I'm sure not interested in earning the same for having to do something, particularly when that something is time consuming, such as a rental.

I loaded up on Zillow and Compass stock yesterday.

Just wanted to mention that in case you thought you could sell some stock and not pay tax this year like a lot of people are trying to do.
