The expert said there was around 6000 spiders in the house...so they'd been there a while.I'm actually more upset about the insurance company not paying...but I'm sure they hid behind their "acts of G-d" clause or something ridiculous.It is a lesson in having Umbrella insurance, however....

Now I don't think they could or would sue me but I don't want to intentionally upset anymore people.

By getting it now, they have a much better guarantee if funding the project, but they will upset investors if their money is not "at work" for weeks or months.I committed to  a RealCrowd deal with Cadence in May 2014. 

Believe me, I'm very upset about it!

From there I'm not sure what steps you would want to take, but first and foremost, make sure you're not upsetting anyone at city hall if they have a different idea for that land than you may have.hillbillywilly

I didn't like going into discussions with sellers and having them get upset with me for trying to buy their property without any of my own money.

Seller was upset, sued and won damages.

I was so upset about the program that I committed to myself that I would not let the $1800 go to waste, but determined that I would find deals to pay back the course that didn't even teach me the specifics of investing.

If you're not clear upfront about your expectations and what they will receive in return, they could get upset with you demanding they do what they said they'd do or even jealous that you're turning a huge profit while paying them only a relatively small portion.
