Can you hire friends in the trade?

Since you are trading out of vacant land, you are looking to dump an asset that didn't require much management. 

Facebook marketplace or even a "buy/sell/trade" group within Facebook could be a great spot. 

@Gladys Cepeda there are merits and trade-offs to both approach.

You may get some people off the bat who won't want to take on the project.I'd also recommend having a timeline in mind for how quickly you want to get the project done and asking each contractor if they have other trades they have experience working with and like working with.

There are those that discussed Gold and Bitcoin in the past.  

That's time for a new negotiation and they will likely buy your Option back from you.You can also sell or trade Options for cash or anything else you like and they are great to hold in retirement accounts too.I currently hold an Option which I paid $4500 to the local County for the owners delinquent property taxes to save his house from foreclosure.

It's also a lot of risk if you don't have relationships with builders and other trades and understand how to navigate the local permit process.
