Interesting though, it seems unfortunate in situations where the lien holder is acting on behalf of the investor(s), whether it be themselves or other stakeholders like fixed income pensioners who could really benefit by recouping more principle from a higher, all cash no contingency offer, why they wouldn't insist on seeing subsequent offers prior to making their decision to accept/decline.

Said I don't need 2 months, I just need 1-1/2 months, if you do that, pass the credit checks, your good.Just want to mention in my 35 years of doing renting, those that don't bat an eyelash, say "no problem" to 1-1/2 month security, I never had a subsequent problem with payments.

Hmm;  If the LL stumbles into 'protected personal information', eg the allergic condition, and subsequently an ESA person applies, my gut reaction (sadly) is to inform the allergic person of the conflict AND to educate him/her that the ESA person has legal rights that the LL can not avoid and as they (assumingly qualify on your screening process) will be moving in, give the option of the allergic person to break  the lease.
