Before 1957, there was no industry or investing arena defined as residential real estate investing.  

There isn’t a lot of residential interest.

Is there a DSCR loan available for refinancing self-storage properties in the $700,000 to $1 million range with a reasonable interest rate of 6.5% to 8%, or are DSCR loans only for residential investments?

When he applied for the garage permit he included this statement to the city certifying that the coach house was neither commercial or residential and only used for storage. 

I typically operate within the residential space and have a few rentals.

If done the other way around, the terms of your preapproval will change.With residential financing, you cannot purchase directly into a LLC (unless you look at DSCR) but that still would limit you to the 5% down conventional.

A mix of commercial and residential topics is fine. 

Options The crazy thing is that using the strategies and techniques I have just discussed does not have to increase risk, unlike property development, rehab, land speculation, 80% leverage, or converting residential to commercial.
