Hi Wilson, I'm using Guesty for Hosts now, but's a low-end, dated solution that's, increasingly, being positioned as an on-ramp to a higher-cost Guesty for Pros upsell.

Hosted a meetup and met a ton of local investors, I’m somewhat known in the local LA REI circles.

Have you talked with any STR hosts in the area yet? 

I also co-host a multi-family meetup as well.

But I'm curious to know more about the day-to-day realities of being a co-host.

It was on the OG podcast back when it was David and Brandon hosting. 

i hear hostaway works good. i just manage my own on 2 OTA platforms. pretty much all is streamlined on there. just have to keep up responsiveness and price optimization. but you could always hire out to a co-host if that would be worth your time. 

It 100% depends on your goals.not to be facetious, but if you are asking because to watched a YouTube video, the answer is I would not get into STRsif the purpose is you have long term goals of investing in real estate, you enjoy hosting, and you want a place near your daughters college for when you visit, the answer might be that it’s great.it’s a mature market now.

Another might walk in and see how color changes, sidewalk appeal or a host of other minor changes make a property attractive.
