I went through Colibri recently to get my real estate license.

I have a lot of construction experience and a electrician helper's license in the state of Maine.

NYC is a very tough place to use a real estate license because it doesn't operate like other markets.

The lease establishes the structure for how the tenancy should go so I would just keep my communication in line with that.

Instead, I recommend starting with turnkey properties while you build your local team and establish your boots on the ground.

@George JanCollections violations and licensing requirements are the main liabilities I'm talking about here. 

This is America ... anyone buying property should enlist the services of a licensed agent.
