This will help you stay focused, avoid the distractions that are typical for real estate investors, and get you to where you really want to be.  

Cries of evil socialism from those who don't realize they already live in a system with A LOT of socialist elements, and the poor being vilified as the source of our ills....Get them distracted and fighting among themselves while we consolidate power. 

I enjoyed the event, it was very entertaining, there were some excellent speakers but I felt it was more of a distraction to me personally from my ultimate goals (building a multifamily business) than something that would help propel me to the next level.

This is negotiable depending on the market, season, and how strongly I want this tenant but I don't advertise that I'm negotiable.I don't do a walk-through with the tenants because my law doesn't require it, it's very time consuming, and they can easily distract you from the task at hand.

Dont get distracted by the excitement of the deal.

To me it sounds like college is just going to be a distraction over the next few years that costs you money only to place you in a different field....working full time......with good benefits.....while you save up for your first purchase. 

To make a living as a real estate broker - it can be more than a full time job, so rentals can be distracting. 

Love the technology part - it can be such a distraction.

I found the BP community many years ago, but still did not pursue my dream and the itch fizzled out as life's distractions got in the way with marriage, work and now a kiddo!
