I have my title agent look into it and found out that they are charging us more than it is supposed to be. the amount increases from 9000 to 13000.

My best recommendation, though, is to have a lawyer structure the contract, and make sure you are put on title.

Definitely want to consult a title attorney on that, but this is why I tell people to go with large well funded title companies rather than the cheaper local ones. 

The title says it all, that is just my end goal with this, (the more the merrier, obviously lol) - or I guess, we could always just back-trace the figures, what's the average net per unit?

I would think you would need to pull a title report and see if there are any liens / judgements as well at least the owner should..

In my experience, banks will need all vested owners on title to qualify.
