Wow...I wish here in Cook County (Chicago) our court system would be this accessible where you could simply call into the clerk to say you were late or fax in personal requests to the judge.Here, defendants get 30 days to vacate a default judgement [almost] without question.

@Caleb Heimsothagreed, you can do alot with 30 but your goose is cooked once that is done.... i would never advocate buying to low end rentals and burning through your cash... point taken.i would look for assumptions, etc with no money down or very low cash out of pocket to get started...
