We support our charity/church.

Our goal would be to source projects and attach them to local or global causes (like a BRRR SF home with monthly cashflow supporting a charity drilling clean water wells in Africa, etc).

Maybe you see this as a way to fund retirement, take more family vacations to create memories, provide a legacy after you are gone, give more to charity or simply as a way to raise your standard of living.

Perhaps there are friends/family or even organizations/charities that would at least help you move your belongings if you found another place to go. 

Have compassion, but also remember you're running a business, not a charity. 

Boycot charity 

Also do searches for local water charities and programs as they may have more luck in working out deals.If you have city connections, now is the time to use them. 

You can participate in events such as Real Estate Investment Clubs/Associations, Charity organizations, your local chamber of commerce meetings, or even just attend meetups of activities you're interested in. 

You could sell it at a reasonable discount to a family friend or charity and avoid realtor fees.
