From turn of the century (19th century) traditional lake cabins to 20k sqft log mansions and everything in between.

My first though was to how real estate was in Europe for centuries (to my understanding maybe I’m wrong) that very few people would sell property it was either inherited or gifted by a king or the like for serves.

Case Shiller had San Diego as #3 overall buy n hold return for this century (I assume it is still close to where it was, I just have not checked in quite a while). 

It was a very well-built custom mid-century modern home to begin with but was flood-damaged/in disrepair so we bought it distressed with plans to fully remodel it anyway.

Its popularity is attributed in part to shifts in attitude in recent years among executives, who have concluded that they no longer need to keep their companies in traditional business centers such as Century City and downtown Los Angeles and have set up shop in the increasingly upscale neighborhoods along the South Bay.

The homes will be mid-century modern style.

I'm currently an agent with Century 21 and I'm interested in running social media ads however the website that is provided to me through C21 is a bit dated and not very customizable.

If they are in the 21st century, it's all online and you might be able to find it on the town's website.
