If I was doing that any cash I brought in on the sale of the partial I would use to pay down the underlying wrapped loan.

I'm just surprised that in the dozens of youtube videos I watched re installing LVP over a wooden subfloor (and the 3 contractors I consulted, and the many home improvement forums I sought advice on :-), no one really mentioned using a 1/4" (or better) plywood underlayment, but since I've brought up my issues here on BP I've seen many folks mention that they ALWAYS do that by default.

Your Passive Allowed/Activity Losses (PAL) will be reconciled on f8582 and brought onto SchE if allowed.Again for rentals, its basically your Rents - expenses - depreciation.Does that help?
