@John Rodriguez I am just about to start my RE broker license classes on Monday but I've been talking to some other agents in Chicago who handle the paperwork side for investors and some of them work on a fee basis vs. a commission.

@Joe Rodriguez I’ve had good experiences with Coastway Credit Union (they were recently acquired and I think they have a new name now, but they still have the same people and a lot of local branches), BankNewport, BankRI, Webster Bank and Pawtucket Credit Union.In my experience the most important thing is to get at least two lenders competing with each other to give you the best rate; you’ll be amazed how they can shave off a little bit extra when they are trying to get your business and beat out a competitor.
