If you want to be in the short or mid term rental business, I would go and try to learn about how to run those kinds of rentals because its a completely different kind of business than long term rentals.

Aside from the misalignment of incentives, this little chart I created shows why I won't invest in deals with preferred returns.The only thing we know going into the deal is that the returns are projections and projections are always wrong.
