Frankly, she needed to be all-in before I would even consider that route - if mama ain't happy, nobody's happy....Long story short, I heard one of FortuneBuilders ads on the radio one morning and I had a sudden, albeit rare, stroke of genius.  

Finding this deal was a stroke of luck, to be honest.

Most of the people I know and work with went the opposite route and are passive investors, different strokes for different folks. 

Dude if you want us to hold your hand and stroke it and say "sure darlin, you don't need a website", dude just don't get one.

While I understand the steps in broad strokes (make an offer, request contingencies, give them earnest money, and so on), I've had trouble finding any kind of guide that explains each step in detail.

unfortunately i had a brain annuerism and a stroke at 54.  

After closing, I just made a phone and stroked a check.

you may want to wait 6 months to a year when you have at least 10 to 15k liquid in the bank. after down stroke..that's just my conservative nature talking
