You might even try and "take it away" by asking if they are no longer interested in taking action on this property, you don't want to waste their time and if you get no response you'll assume there is no interest.

Slight quibble, they NEVER purchased the property, as in taking title and transferring their own funds.  

Once you find someone interested in taking an offer from you ask a realtor to help you close the deal, or close it yourself if you want to try (read how to do this on the Internet).

@Mark Gallagher That was an estimate provided from the GC who originally had interest in taking on the project that I mentioned in the initial post.

In this case, I am currently looking for a flipper that would be interested in taking this contract for an assignment as I am more interest in the learning process at this point and not ready to take on a flip just yet.
