These are specifically designed with the long horizon in mind and are much less sensitive to rapid market swings as well as providing inter-recession protection (probably a phrase I just made up) but it is what is says - letting your wealth in a way where recessions no longer impact or concern you.

Not Canadian, but if all residents are not on the lease, then they can only visit.That doesn't mean they need to pay rent (like if you have an 8-year-old on the lease), but they need their name there if they intend on living there.Maybe this is some cultural sensitivity thing Trudeau is trying to do?
