Ya it’s more of a crutch to soften the blow of a large down payment. $40-$50k out of pocket, HELOC or private money loan for the remaining $20-$30k 

Even large and small businesses with intangible residual services like TV, internet, security, pest control or the local contractor with remodels in process could fall behind on payments revenue contract. 

That said, Texas tends to offer more affordable housing than Florida’s coastal towns, so your money might go further if you’re buying properties for yourself and your portfolio.When it comes to family life, Texas has tons of family-friendly suburbs with excellent schools.
