A great way to start is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

You could get licensed: I would join a team, as this allows you to shorten your learning curve, but you will be about 6 months without income and it takes a couple years to get good. 85% of new agents give up in the first year, and almost as many in the second.

But you just joined today, and this is your first and only post.  

Join in some local groups or check online listings such as Zillow, Redfin, etc.If you're also in need of funds for your real estate venture don't hesitate to reach me.

Every 5 years there will be a legitimate strategy that gets promoted as the newest "Get rich tomorrow" BS that gets overhyped by the sharks. 

Join local real estate investment clubs, attend seminars, or engage in online forums to stay updated on the latest trends and strategies.Remember, real estate investing is not a get-rich-quick scheme.
