We use Docusign, our PM software and DropBox to store everything electronically.

We use quickbooks for accounting so the software is for tracking rooms in regards which tenant is where, service requests, keep leases electronic etc.

I have created a "Rend Demand" electronically through the NYC court systems but I will have to hire someone (friend or family member for free) to server her.Should I do this then hire a lawyer or should I just hire a lawyer and let them handle everything?

Counties just started allowing electronic assignment recordings never mind moving to something this advancedNot saying it’s not a great technology as I don’t know enough about it- but it has a ton of hurdles

@Taylor ComerLots of good options here, but one thing to consider with giving tenants the ability to deposit or pay electronically.

Expenses can be handled via an accountable plan (if S Corp) or without an accountable plan (if disregarded).Either way, it's highly recommended that you keep contemporaneous written or electronic mileage logs.

One word of caution, don't take a first job that is oriented around construction or construction management, I have found it very hard for folks to move from construction to development without some loss of career traction to do so.For example, I come from a family of real estate developers, but I was ambitious to learn rapidly and work for others in the multi-family development domain, so I obtained my first job (asst. project manager) for a division of KB Home (Kaufman and Broad Multi-Housing) that developed in-house apartment projects.
