I brought up numerous times my concern for the rates going up and actually told him I would want to wait to get an investment property because I KNEW what Canada was in for.

I’m definitely going to start looking into wealth building because I wasn’t planning on selling anything as long as it brought in stable income or I needed money for a downpayment on a property with a higher yield.

Also, maybe try asking the lender why this wasn't brought up earlier.
