It's already overwhelming for them to move so 80% of what you tell them will be forgotten and the paperwork could be shoved in a box and lost.I prefer to give them an email a week after they move in that has some key reminders about their lease, how to dispose of large items like broken furniture, how to submit maintenance requests, etc.

Just for discussion purposes.I picked this pic off the internet.It looks like a lot of "Hoarder Houses" decor style.Busy carpet, busy furniture, paneling, faux rocks on the walls, flat paint.I can smell the cigarette smoke just looking at the picture.But I wonder if you owned this place, as either a flip or a rental, or AirBnB, would you rip everything out and paint it all grey and modern.Or do you think pic 2 is acceptable and cheap (quick) way to do it.Tear it out to the studs, or just light cosmetic changes, or something completely different?

Asked how things were going Etc....He said that they really wanted to get in there just real quick to measure 2 rooms for new furniture they are buying, and their Realtor told them no, just wait until the walk-through.I've bought/sold lots of houses and have never had a problem getting into a house during escrow, nor have I ever denied a buyer from getting in to measure when I was the seller.What's your opinion on this?
