Traffic/congestion may be a factor.  

Portland state is on the north side of town and you will have very tough commutes during traffic times from anthing that is 30 miles away.one place no one mentioned you may want to consider is the area just north of  down town Vancouver you can certainly hit your price points there..

hello BP world, my name is Comfort, i recently relocated to Atlanta about 6 months ago, besides the crazy humidity and horrible traffic situation here, i like it so far.. i joined BP just 2 months ago and i have been in the background just reading and digesting as much information as i could so this is my very first post :) .before i start i just want to give a shout out to each and everyone of you who often take time out of their very busy schedules to answer questions on here( that's what amazes me about BP) so kudos to you guys, i appreciate that!!

It is more like a small barn because it is tall and very spacious at about 600 sq ft.It is located on a very desirable cul-de-sac street with almost zero traffic - super quiet, safe and private.

What is working well for people outside the hustle, bustle, and traffic of SA?

I will definitely be there.Its not very often that there are too many meetups down by me.I would like to check out the chicago bp one too but I just am too lazy to drive up there and deal with the crazy traffic. :-)Orland is only about 25 minutes for me and its real easy driving.....

So make it look good and get ready for the foot traffic.

But the traffic CL gets is by far greater than a hosted web site.

I am not sure how much traffic you have on the road, but if it is generally a busy street you may have to make more concessions to get it rented.

Junk cars, a junk boat, an RV, loads of foot traffic, and an off-leash dog.
