So if it's one unit in an apartment complex, you need to take care of it before it spreads to others.The advice I got from my pest control person that did our monthy pest control sprayings, was find a larger exterminator that has a guarantee for bedbug treatment, since they are very hard to deal with.

If you're doing it anyways add a couple body sprays, they're cheap up front cost but people love them and they can actually sway someone to rent just for the shower.

She was using the sprayer in a haphazard way, causing water to spray everyplace, including sliding down the hose attached to the sprayer, through the hole the sprayer comes through, right under the sink.

Luckily, using Kilz on it to seal it can fix it (same with wood); you might also treat with a urine remover product (spray on, let soak in and dry).Downside - an extra day for painting and letting it dry, before putting in new carpet.
