The landlord tenant laws are getting more and more anti-landlord. 

I understand the state laws regarding wholesaling in NY are tricky, but is it worth it to spend the money to have lawyers review or draw up my contracts?

Here in coastal NC our municipality had similar laws about STR within city limits, a couple sued the city and WON.

@David Felt hopefully you had an attorney help you draft the lease, ask them what you can and cannot do within the bounds of the lease and your state laws.

Many of them have given me advice on navigating landlord-tenant laws and things that are specific to different areas (e.g. investing in San Francisco is different from San Jose). 

I might try AIR BNB in Westport, MA but need to check all the laws first.

If it is a term lease, the lease terms will control, to the extent they do not contradict state law.

Both are terrible choices NYC, super expensive and high taxes, and TERRIBLE landlord laws.

It should say in there what the terms are for ending the lease in the case of month-to-month.Then check your state and local laws.

My guess is 99%+ of agents have no familiarity with off-market deals or the real nuances of the laws, they do exactly what their brokerage tells them to do with appropriate checklists and pre-written forms/contracts.
