Lawyer Reviewed Contract
Is it worth it to have my contracts drawn up, or at least reviewed by a Real Estate Attorney. I understand the state laws regarding wholesaling in NY are tricky, but is it worth it to spend the money to have lawyers review or draw up my contracts? I think it will save me money in the long term in the event I am sued, but lawyers are expensive and as a student, disposable income isn't exactly too prevalent. What I have saved would ideally go to filing an LLC and earnest money when I get properties under contract.

I have all my contracts reviewed by an attorney. I use the term safe harbor - meaning if there ever is issues with it then the attorney you drafted it is gonna have to defend it.
