The ones I’ve seen look like a small nail head.

Pull up the tack strips, run a magnet-on-wheels around the edges to find all those nails, then refinish. 

The contractor nailed down Hardie over a 5/8 in., 40-year-old plywood subfloor.

There are many great company's and loan officers, but finding the right combination of products, experience, knowledge and willingness to work in that side of the business can be difficult to nail down at times.

Sounds like you've got all the big points nailed.

I am reaching out to see if anyone knows anything about the type of drywall that is designed to be hung vertically from floor to ceiling, glued to the studs, and has no nails except the bottom(under trim, and top)hidden behind crown molding.

Beams rotted through, overspanned and only nailed to columns .

@Dan Heuschele essentially nailed every single deterrent I could think of off the top of my head, so not much to add there lol.
