With having a plan to purchase soon, I have been leaning towards the small guaranteed return of a savings account, although if I'd put all that savings into my brokerage, I'd be crushing it, but hey, hind sight is 20-20.Looks like Discover has cash bonuses and I have a card with them already but I'm not going to split hairs and just want something easy.

You can definitely try Airbnb but you will spend a bit of time turning the rooms (if you want to be top rated, it's important that not a hair in sight can be seen--I'm a Superhost myself and do it out of our extra bedrooms).If that's not up your ally you may just want to find a couple of roommates.Also don't forget to use the @ symbol to tag people or we may not know you replied :)

Dog hair everywhere even on my brand new sofa.Wife called Airbnb to see how to handle this since we are new and have had great recent reviews, since they obviously busted our house rules having more then max 6 guests, violated our no pet policy, and late checkout.So Airbnb gave us an $85 cleaning credit back to us, which I was shocked they would do.

However, the margin is thin - good for homebuyer, not so good for investors.Luckily you can still get the 1% rule around here by a hair, but 8% Cap rate, etc, good luck!
