Hi Kate, That you are asking where to start, might mean hiring a GC would be best.You are more likely to get if completed in a workmanlike manner with the least hassles.Then you just need to know how to pay him intelligently so as not to get burned, and how to get lien releases and inspect the work yourself before paying.Just my 2 cents.

Bottom line is, I am very thankful to BP and all the people I’ve met along the way who have helped me on this journey and helped me to understand the power of intelligent real estate investing.Some other time I’ll post on another investment I made that was supposed to be more passive but ended up being very nerve-wracking, and I still don’t have my money back….
