I live in North Texas where we quite often have damaging winds and hail.

I canvased the 76010 area last year after a hail storm.

Home was inspected and it came back that I might need a new roof (due to hail damage, and a entire new HVAC system (original with the home, over 30 years old).

@Ryder Meehan  nothing beats putting your eyeballs on the housing stock.also want to check for flood insurance and wind  those can be much higher in that marketwind being hurricane not wind being tornado and hail like Texas.. you should not have the foundation issues you can experience in Texas either.

Negotiate fairly and honestly and things tend to work themselves out.In my example the roof was damaged enough by hail that my inspector assured me that it would not pass a code inspection.

My property is a Hail Mary (long pass) from the largest inland lake in Michigan. 

She hailed from California originally.
