We have paid a deposit for a VRBO in Destin FL for a June stay.

I’m shocked by that, but my working theory is that folks still want to vacation, but they would prefer to drive there than fly or cruise, and they’d like to stay in a secluded private residence.

They had an open house scheduled for sat-sun and I was going on a cruise to Bermuda that Saturday.

my non educated guess is we will see some panic.. some investors decide to just hold their cards tight right now.I think landlords may experience some tenants that cant work becasue their jobs are affected not necessarily they are infected .. but they lose hours at vocations that are at risk/  Like cruise industry, airlines  Hotels  convention services those types of things.. and i guess really restaurants.. as the stock market retreats I think that will create some amount of flight to real estate for more stable investments even if its just parking money for low returns. 

I don't have a sure destination yet but my plan is to eventually get a fifth wheel to live in as my next career move will be semi transient.  

People will still be taking vacations and DW will still be popular.I participate in a number of other non-real estate forums and the corona virus is a topic and just about everyone is still doing their vacations, even cruises.

If it happens to be a recreational destination (like Brainerd MN) or contains other outdoorsy attractions I might consider a deal.

I finally decided to go all in and get a coach to really figure this thing because it was like every where i went i would lose money or not get paid the money I was truly owed. it frustrated me to the point of just giving up all hope and never truly become what I was destined for.

We have an epic problem of the whole neighborhood viewing the parking lot of my 34 unit as the party destination to be at.
