Saving money is for amateurs or scaredy cats , I put it right up there with losing weight......all it does is make you miserable and remind you how screwed you are all the time..:)    

It is done by amateurs that have a short life span in this business.  

Alot of responses come from 4+ mailings; this is assuming that you didn't create an amateur letter with too much or too little information (both can hinder your response rates).The timing of when your letters arrives matters as well. 

(I am an amateur too, so I am still learning... but getting pretty good at the podcasting!)

Hey gang,  This is about as amateur as a question gets, and I know there's a handful of you direct mailers out there who will simply say 'don't do that.

When I conducted my own research, it was hard to tell the difference between the con artists and the amateurs.

My amateur guess would be about 3k worth of work maybe less.

First most agents are part time amateurs and the few good ones are usually busy with their residential business and higher price points.
