I have taken her around with me working on a few different projects and she picked up that snaking sewers is fairly easy.   

First get all the sunshine pumped up your tail-pipe, lather with the snake-oil, then check em-out to get truth and reality of it from the "Oracle of Ohio". 

Pull the baseboards and cut a slit along the floor level and run the wires there and the with a snake, pull them up to the switches or up into the next floor using the same technique. 

C&B plumbing 702-498-5377 came out and snaked a kitchen sink drain, removed and unclogged a p trap and reinstalled for $175 on 5/19They also replaced s pressure regulator in a garage at a different property for $275 on 4/22 so that should be your max, assuming a pressure regulator is same or harder than a valve. on 2/22 they replaced two flappers and 2 fill valves in two different toilets for $250On 1/17 at a third property they snaked a pair of sinks for $160.I’m happy to say that’s all the plumbing I’ve dealt with this year.

.- call someone to remove a snake from under the sofa- call someone to remove the trash when it's piling up- help guests find your cabin when it is 1am and they are completely lostAnd much much more!

So I don't blame the sellers for not wanting to give a credit, or share the cost on a sewer snake out, since they can just find another buyer.OK, so they are telling you that there are roots in the line, but what else did they say about the sewer line?

Plumber said main water line in basement broke somewhere, dirt in line couldnt get snake past certain point. 

These tubs have occasionally backed up before, but we've always been able to get them unclogged with either drain cleaner or snaking.We had a plumber come try to snake it yesterday, and he spent an hour or more trying to get a 1/2" snake down through the T where the 2 tubs' drains come together.
