Bob had collected $500 from Jane that day, I've yet to see any lease agreement or an application or any funds whatsoever from Bob (even after having fired him and to this day writing in this forum - which is just a few days after having fired him, so this is all recent).Jane is still wondering where her $500 is.

Now, I’m completely interested in marrying real estate with my overall asset mix.My main goal is two-pronged: 1) I’d like to develop a passive income strategy that’s “light touch” to diversify my retirement savings and income (and to have someone else increase my net worth); and 2) passive income so that I can also diversify my current earnings and not rely as heavily on the peaks and troughs of my photography business.If I can really focus and sink my teeth in this world, heck maybe I can create cash flowing opportunities to find other business ideas I have as well.

However, for no reason whatsoever the appraisers stated our rents would be 2/3 of this rent for the same BR/BA configuration even though our units would have in-unit laundry while the comp only had hookups.

I think it depends on how tight the state is.. but the reality is if you read real estate laws in all states they read exactly the same it just depends on if the state cares and if they are going to follow up.you don't see many contracts offered for sale with no description of the property whatsoever.

Mistakes: Screwed all the paperwork up initially, I'm thankful for my realtor buddy and his fathers brokerage.Not doing any due diligence whatsoever, I got a price from my boss that he wanted and that's what I put it on Craigslist forPosting the check on facebook, turns out other people were doing this stuff too...they basically laughed at my $500 assignment lol
