I've read a little bit online about asterisk and Telrex, but I'd like to hear about other folks' experience before I jump in.We would want a system with these features:- It needs to record all phone calls that get routed to our sales department- It needs to have voicemail- It needs to be able to forward calls to an outside number (i.e. a cell phone)- We would like caller ID capabilities- We would also like it if we could get a hosted service solution rather than us trying to set up and manage a server.The more I think about this the more I'm convinced that I want a PBX system.

Pinnacle does have caller ID.

If they don't leave a voicemail, I gather all the caller ID numbers (since they show up when dialing toll frees) and send a follow up text message with the unit details.

Instead the caller is getting a busy signal.

We will be trying to tweak it for tracking leads, screening callers, taking steps in closing and wholesaling, to project management for flipping and expenses.Takes a minute to understand but once you do then it's a wonderful tool.The toughest part is creating the workflow.

Skip tracing phone numbers in my target area and hiring a cold caller to call my direct mail list helped kickstart my direct mail campaigns.

I have found phone numbers for the owner, but it goes to a message saying the caller is not accepting messages at this time....every time.

The auto warranty calls are a notorious scam and their unsolicited calls (usually with forged caller ID) is completely illegal.
