We left a few areas of sublfloor and sealed with KILZ or something like it, bombed the house, painted every surface and put new flooring - we should have torn out all the subfloors, sprayed the attic and replaced all the heating registers.Cats also pee on things like the boiler, oil tank, hot water heater - all your mechanicals in the basement.

If a tenant moves out of a property after his lease was completed and the landlord refused to return the full security deposit due to "dusting and cleaning of the apartment" is it possible for the tenant to file a mechanics lein on the property for the remainder of deposit?

I'm ready to bid on a foreclosure but just found out that even tho only one mortgage company is listed as seller, the home owner actually has a few mechanic liens on property plus two second mortgages that he is not in default on.

I did do a register of deed search on line and found the original mortgage, two others from the same bank, one from another bank plus a mechanic lien all against the same property.
