It is worth checking, because if there is a lender title claim that the title insurer covers, the claims department (depending on the nature of the claim) will absolutely scrutinize the loan documents and likely step in to enforce lender protection provisions against you if you don't have title insurance.

Thanks Account Closed The only reference I can find in the legislation that excludes SB9 from being used due to tenant occupancy in the last 3 years is specifically associated to the alteration or demolition (anti-displacement measures) of the unit on the property.

If it were me, I would look elsewhere, but if I had to I would do the following:1 - Contact the local municipality (Miami Beach I assume) talk to code enforcement and give them the address and ask if there are rental restrictions in the zoning.
