The house has been working and reasonably safe for 80 years... it's not going to explode tomorrow. 

The land is an area that has exploded in the last 5 years.

I know the RE market is exploding.

For example a new Chevy might be slightly cheaper and less reliable than a similar Toyota, but both meet all the minimum federal safety standards and whatnot, so I as the consumer am somewhat protected from that dial being jacked too far in either direction - there's virtually no chance that I can find a new car from a legit dealership that is priced so cheaply that is likely to explode on me the second I drive it off the lot. 

I have been looking at the Raleigh Market as well, a good friend of mine is an agent down there and the surrounding areas are exploding. 

Regardless of what the market and overall appreciation do, these areas are going to explode in the next 15 years, main catalyst being the new tolls.

It is in a very desirable neighborhood in Cincinnati that has exploded with growth since we moved in.

But if they ever realize a high-speed rail between Sacramento and San Francisco that gets you there in an hour and let's you work on the way, the Sacramento housing market will EXPLODE with highly paid commuters from the Bay Area. 10) Big City Feel, Without the Big City Price -- I've said this for years... if you're from a metro area with 7 million people, you're not going to move to a cow-town like Merced or Atwater to save money on housing.
