And since you could always provide the correct documents and proof that you've made your payments and the payments have been correctly credited to your account, I'm not sure it's worth paying a lawyer over this issue, really.

., after they moved out, they couldn't claim that they didn't know they needed to vent the bathroom (mold), or not keep piles of cardboard stored inside (roaches), etc.But, I didn't add addenda, because we did inspections twice a year looking for these things with our quick inspections, so it just didn't seem necessary.
