Renovated my whole kitchen for under 5k, including cabinets, granite, tile and backsplash.

@Jack Gray Well, the kitchen appears to have nice cabinets, maybe just change the knobs and a new back splash to give it some color. 

I like to spice it up with a ceramic tile or glass back splashes and granite or marble tile counter tops.  

Will use 4 x 4 travertine for the backsplash. 

Tile backsplashes are also cheap and easy to DIY, but with a solid value-add.

I’d always go nice tile backsplash in the kitchen, but for a rental definitely recommend fiberglass tub/shower surround

No crazy halogen that need to be imported by only ikea or similar. 3x12” subway style tile backsplash.

The tile backsplash is installed and we are re-configuring the kitchen a little bit, the work associated with that is done also.We re-worked the layout so you do not have to walk through someones bedroom to get to the bathroom.
