They have better Financing and SEO power.Depending on the Site in Town 2, we can build more units than Town 1; up to 300 to 500 units depending on the size of the site.

You can't compete with the national firms either Financing or SEO power. 

In creating a marketing platform through a website/SEO, I find that there is a lot of competitors saying the same thing: "we buy homes for cash, any condition". 

Contacting owners directly through some method (direct mail, post cards, SEO/web ads, etc.) to find "off market deals" is the usual recommendation for this.And I think there's some truth to that, and opportunity in it - but at this late stage of the market, you should know if you go this road there's a lot of competition so you will likely have to spend months of consistent effort to eventually find something acceptable.

The big nationals will have you beat on financing, SEO power, and Marketing. 

Hey guys, for those of you with Carrot websites or any sites in general where SEO and PPC are a main driver of your leads.

CRMs, social media ads, promotional products, SEO, SEM, probate marketing, and of course, ZTR (Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com) where you can spend money like it's free and unless you're spending tens of thousands per month, you'll generally get crap for ROI

Plus if you are able to spend some time on SEO etc, you could even begin generating leads directly via your website.As far as best design / response rate, that depends on your list, and the usual advice is just do some testing and be ready to spend quite a bit on marketing persistently.
