I have been reading about adverse mortgage fees in news from Dec 1st( it was supposed to be implemented from Sept 1) and this has been playing in the back of my mind during this refinance process am I little worried if it’s going to bite my back at the time of closing, my current lender has already sent me payoff instructions.

This decline was driven by consumers concerned about deteriorating stock holdings, business conditions (plunged 16%) and expectations over personal finances (fell 8%), reflecting ongoing concerns about inflation and uncertainty over headline news abroad.

I saw it on the local news about a 19 year old girl who bought and now runs an old run down bowling alley in Ellsworth.
