Adverse mortgage market fees during refinance

Hello,

I am in the midst of a mortgage refinance and I am done with initial formalities, signing the initial disclosures and providing the documentation and so far happy with the terms and It can take 30-40 days to close from today. I have been reading about adverse mortgage fees in news from Dec 1st( it was supposed to be implemented from Sept 1) and this has been playing in the back of my mind during this refinance process am I little worried if it’s going to bite my back at the time of closing, my current lender has already sent me payoff instructions. I was not to keen to refinance with this adverse mortgage fee.

Anyone has any thoughts on this , appreciate your inputs.

Thanks
