I'll add a plex channel to the Roku so it can pick up my movie library, as well.Then, for sports programming, add in the sports network and use the sling/directv now/etc. logins to get that programming.The nice thing.. it's super easy to use. 

There's always travel nurses or people moving in and out of LA or I imagine the studios have someone working on a movie or TV show that need short term housing.
