@PJ McLaughlin - I realised this, but was explicitly asked to leave the keys under the mat, since they had work being done on the house.

Obviously real estate would be cheaper, however how did you find buyers or renters when people were fiscally strapped and there was less market competition for your properties?

I thought about getting a hard money loan for the last deal I was under contract with, but it would have required too much cash out of my pocket and left me strapped for cash in case I needed to repair a major item. 

Going to the laundry mat sucks and costs $50-100 per month not including time.

@Mat O'Grady Thanks for the thoughts, I definitely know I'm a bit off cycle here, but thought, and my understanding was even so, it would be covered by the general strength of the rental market in NB.
