Any brokerage would be more than happy to hire a new licensee because you are paid solely on commission and not salary.

Statistics say that 9 out of 10 licensees are out of the business within one year and from the ones left, another 9 are out of business after 5 years, which means that within 5 years, only one licensee will be successful out of 100 that got their license!

We have close to 20,000 licensed realtors, and of those licensees about 10% are also principal brokers.I believe the number of licensed property managers is about 10,000 of that.Property management fees typically run 8 to 10%, with the exception of the city of Portland.
